Because the average age of a Tibetan Terrier is 14 years, the purchase of a Tibetan Terrier has a large influence on your live. The Tibetan Terrier is known as an intelligent, active but especially lively dog. They are medium dogs and they have a beautiful long fleece. Thinks before you act!

Movement:

The Tibetan Terrier is known as an active dog which loves long walks. Running and playing they love. Be sure that you are in the occasion to give your dog this. When a Tibetaanse Terriër gets not enough movement, he will look for other challenges rapidly elsewhere, what frequently results in demolishing matter or frequently barking.

Fleece:

Of the most known characteristics of the Tibetan Terrier is its beautiful and long fleece. Keep in mind that looking after the fleece is a task that has to be repeated regularly.  The fleece takes very easy dirt during walking, hare will stick, in short regular grooming is necessary with a Tibetan Terrier.

 To be alone:

No dog likes to be alone and also the Tibetan Terrier doesn't like that. When you (and your partner) work outside, your dog will be frequently alone at home. This will frequently lead to several behaviour problems. When you do not have enough time, you shoudn't buy a Tibetan Terrier!

Holiday is still something that is frequently overlooked. Can you and your dog go on holiday? Who can take care of your dog, when you're on a short break? Is there  another form of relief for your pet?  Inform the dog-sitter always concerning your habits and those of your dog!

The cost:

Look at your financial situation before buying a dog. Besides the price there are also other costs with you must take into account. Taking care of your dog means many costs for food,  vaccination, care, training etc.. Can you afford a high bill of a veterinary surgeon if the dog becomes sick or hurt? Can you take care of your pet financially?
